About
Nicky has been teaching Yoga since 2020 and brings a calm, no nonsense approach to her Yoga classes. It was the meditative fluidity of Vinyasa flow that first drew Nicky to Yoga along with the physical benefits of regular practice. Off the mat Nicky loves to run, cycle and swim and has found Yoga to be a great asset in preventing injuries and maintaining a strong and robust body. Expect there to be offerings that may challenge you within the practices, although these are always presented with alternatives and options to take it easy should you wish. Nicky is also a fully qualified Mat & Reformer Pilates instructor and weaves some of these elements into the sessions you will find on here.

They lose some strength and elasticity, meaning the “sling of muscles” that holds everything up can weaken. Does that mean we shouldn’t lift?
Absolutely not. Weight training is still one of the best things you can do for long-term health. It just means we need to be smart about how we do it.
