I’ve always been the sporty type, as a kid I enjoyed nothing more than to be running, cycling and playing hockey or football. When I left school, started work and college all that seemed to get put to one side.

In my late twenties I rediscovered fitness and health and found time to include it back into my life. I joined a couple of gyms in my local area and started training in different forms: strength, endurance and flexibility, and with different people. All this was going well until one day I injured my back at work. I was off work for two months, during this time I visited a Chiropractor who helped me get back to work. He also gave me some exercises to do to prevent my back from hurting again. As time went by I got back into training again and discovered that the exercises the Chiropractor had given me were core activation and strengthening exercises. These then became the foundation of my future training.

I came to the decision that the health and fitness industry was my passion. I did some research and got in touch with the European Institute of fitness, booked myself on the Master Trainers course and became a fully qualified personal trainer to REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals) level 3. I now work for myself where I strive to develop my business as a fitness professional, relishing the opportunity to develop my skills with each new client. I have a passion for training and helping others achieve their fitness goals. Now I’m proud to be part of the excitement and diversity that is helping people become fitter, happier and healthier from the inside out.
